We call varanasi as a holy place for the Hindus but there are muslims too and there is a mosque and a temple still. they are just divided by a wall. this goes to say that there was one religion earlier. You get excellent curd in mud pots - a must drink. Kasi can be visited during October to March.

The most enduring monument to love, built by the fifth Mughal emperor as the final resting place for beloved Mumtaj Mahal is at threat these days. The monument after saving its life from deadly clutches of Taj Corridor , countless factories in its vicinity is ultimately falling to the might of world power.

When you visit Agra, do not fail to see Taj mahal in "chandni raath". You can see Taj mahal at the night only 2 days before full moon day, on the full moon day and 2 days after full moon day. The rest of the time it is closed for night viewing. They have limited tickets on sale, so you have to book one day in advance or get hold of a good travel agent who can do that for you. We had Antilog-the best bet fr India

Shopping in Rajasthan is very enticing. What with all the handlooms, artefacts ethnic wear and jewellery- all invite you to splurge. But one should be cautious while spending as the sellers are very) and if you do not have proper knowledge you would be spending Rs. 100/- for a Rs. 10/-. But if you have a n agent with you then nothing stops you! I would say 3 cheers for Rajasthan! It is a perfect place for the Tourism board to invest and promote as a destination India to foreigners!!!

The morning was as beautiful as the silver night; I woke up with the most beautiful music ever heard by me, played by the band of birds. The moon was getting diminished as the rays of sun started getting stronger and lightening up the whole lake surrounded by the aravali hills.10 Days well spent

I’ve always admired the Rajasthani culture. The People, the garments, the festivals and everything. One thing which comes into my mind when I think of Rajasthan is Royalty, the lovely palaces and their grandeur. We were on a trip to Raj for 12 nights and 13 days in the month of April. It is actually enough if you want to just move around Rajasthan.

It is not easy for a Westerner to comprehend, much less appreciate the sprawling and wondrous Rajasthan few lands hold such power to shock and enthrall. With the 20th Century biopic appearances, it unravels the true beauty of our heritage which we have treasured since the colonial rule. It is not only extraordinarily profound but it depicts the godess the hindu firmament, Brahma and Vishnu.

One of the most vibrant and colorful cities of India is Jaipur. Famous for its strikingly beautiful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes the city basks in the glory of a rich and eventful past. Jaipur is city which is made all the more attractive by the pink wash that most buildings are periodically given.

Varanasi is a city of temples. Almost every road crossing has a nearby temple. Such small temples form the basis of daily local prayers and other rituals. But there are many large temples too, erected at different times through out the history of Varanasi.

There are nearly 100 ghats in Varanasi. Every ghat has its own story. The ghat one can go easily is Dashashwamedh Ghat.. To seek salvation, for fun, out of curiosity, nearby destination or free holiday – your excuse can be any but do visit, it is a tour of cultural diversity. It is a holy city for Hindus, Jains, Buddhists and Muslims.
